WIKARUS 2023: Jury nominated best submissions

The Business Award WIKARUS – Salzburg’s most important award for outstanding entrepreneurial and innovative achievements – goes into the next round. We are unquestionably proud, that our portfolio company sproof is one of the nominees in the category “Innovation”. Congratulations to the whole team!

Only companies that achieve impressive performance and thus make Salzburg a vibrant economic region have the chance to obtain this award. The judging process

The judging process at the WIKARUS Award consists of two stages. First, the jurors make an initial evaluation in advance of the jury meeting, from which a top group of submissions in each category emerges. These top submissions per category are then furthermore discussed in plenary session at the jury meeting. “Due to the different points of view at the jury meeting, the result is once again objectified and can change again compared to the initial evaluation,” emphasized WIKARUS project manager Mag. Robert Etter.

Again the two top-class juries were spoiled for choice this year. They had to chose the 15 best companies from numerous submissions and it was for sure no easy choice! Now it’s a matter of waiting.  The Chamber of Commerce Salzburg will host a splendid award gala on May 16. There they will reveal the winners and hand over the Wikarus awards.
