1.5 weeks left before the grand finale of the Invest and Connect Smart Mobility Awards 2020 will take place online (3rd December @17:30 CET, co-hosted online with e&Co AG) with the 8 most-promising smart mobility startups.
Selected over the last 6 months, the national champions and wild card winners represent Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The Finnish Finalist: Maas Global
Enabling users to combine all modes of transport into one subscription
The wild card winner at ‘Invest and Connect’ NORDIC qualifier, Maas Global – true to its name – is a global leader in the MaaS market, enabling users to combine public transport, taxis, ride-hailing, micro-mobility, and other modes of transport into one subscription, thereby eliminating the need of owning a personal vehicle.
Nordic Regional Winner: Uniquesec
Reliable in-lab testing for autonomous driving
The winning startup from Sweden, Uniquesec is working with automotive pioneers in ADAS and AD to get to the next generations of self-driving vehicles and driver assistance safety systems. Its product, ASGARD1, is a virtual testing system enabling validation of automotive radars and radar-based safety functions.
UK Champion: Unmanned life
AI for Autonomy SaaS
Winner of the ‘Invest and Connect’ UK qualifier, Unmanned Life‘s enables industries to be fully autonomous through its full stack AI for autonomy software platform that deploys and manages coordinated and interoperable swarms / fleets of unmanned ground vehicles, aerial vehicles and other robotics systems through a single unified management interface, whether on-premises, over-the-cloud or on the edge. 2019 / 2020 market traction includes working with leading telco operators and ecosystem players around the world like Magenta T-Mobile; Fortune 500 industrial companies and enterprises like Frequentis, Airbus, and the EU and UK Governments, as well as the city of Vienna, Madrid City Council, Dubai City Future Foundation and Oxfordshire County Council.
Special Award: The Crowd Vote Winner
This year, the European Super Angels Club introduces a second award for its eight finalists – the ‘Smart Mobility Crowd Vote Winner’ – a title that will allow the recipient to receive the same highlight and traction among investors as the winner of the final event.
We are looking for the best idea or solution among our pre-selected startups; regardless of valuation, the fundraising amount or other background data that our analyst team already collected.
The voting will close on December 3rd, 6:30pm (CET).
